Olympic Art

Children in the senior room made clay Olympic mascots and construction pieces to represent various Olympic sports to celebrate the visit of Richael Timothy, Para cyclist, to our school.  Richael will represent Ireland in the Paralympics this summer in Paris. We wish Richael every best wish and thank her most sincerely for taking the time to visit our school as she prepares for the Paralympics. 

For info: The name of the Paris 2024 mascot is Olympic Phryge, based on the traditional small Phrygian hats that the mascots are shaped after. The name and design were chosen as symbols of freedom and to represent allegorical figures of the French republic.
