On the 25th June we went on our school tour to Funny Bones in Sligo.  We had a great time in the play area, on the go-karts, on the climbing wall and on the aerial course.  We had a nice lunch and then the older children went to an astro turf pitch to play some football while the younger children went to the park.  To finish off the day we went to the shop for some treats.

On Tuesday 26th June we went on our School Tour to Lough Key, Forest Park.  The children from second to sixth class went to “Zipit”.  They had plenty of fun completing the various courses –  flying through zip lines, swinging through trees and balancing on obstacles.

The younger children went to the Adventure Kingdom, an outdoor play area where they enjoyed the climbing frames, slides and obstacle courses. They also climbed the tower, ventured into the tunnels and went on the Tree Top Forest Walk.

On the 29th June we went on our school tour to Athlone Baysports.  We went canoeing and we made our own rafts.  We went on a speed boat and a water trampoline.  We make a tent and toasted marshmallows over a camp fire.   We competed in an obstacle course and had go-cart races.  It was a great school tour.
